Shop owners in a tiny village near Rome have dropped a huge hint that Tom
Cruise and Katie Holmes will marry there this weekend.
Theyve decorated their windows in Bracciano with memorabilia dedicated to
the couple and the mayor Patrizia Riccione has confirmed authorities have
requested the clearance of the main square in front of Odescalchi Castle.
The owners of apartments overlooking the 15th century castle and a nearby
lake are advertising their apartments for rents at up to £20,000.
Ms Riccione said: "We are not profiting at all on this event. We have had to
ask for a small contribution to cover the extra costs. We are not Rome town
hall, we are a small town and this is such a big event in all senses. And we
want to make sure everybody in Bracciano can enjoy this in the best way
possible."
Tom and part of his entourage are currently staying in Rome and fellow
Hollywood actor Jim Carrey has arrived in the Italian capital.
British tourist Veronica Mason said: "Were here on a few days holiday in
Rome and we knew that Tom Cruise was somewhere around in Rome, we saw all the
paparazzi as we were walking past and we thought wed watch and see if he came
out."
